Service and food were amazing

The service was very good and the steak was delicious. It was very tender. Excellent dining experience.

Compliments to the chefs.The food is absolutely mouth watering, absolutely delicious- start to finish. Skip the olive garden and come to Massa's. Be it take out or dine in, you will have a full stomach and a happy mouth. The staff is kind, the building- tho small- is cosey and warm. It's a wonderful place to grab a bite.

Lasagna is basically manicotti with an overpowered provel cheese taste. Bread isn't anything special. Salads are decent.

Everything here is excellent. Some of the best pasta (try the carbonara,) my favorite spinach artichoke dip around, and in my opinion the BEST St. Louis style pizza, period. The atmosphere is dark and cozy, and I love their eclectic decorations. The staff is super friendly. Massa's is a great little chain, but the Ballwin location is the best.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere and service. Never disappointed with this location. Enough room between tables that you're not sitting on top of each other.

I love this place! Awesome food, and great service. M-Th they have a great steak special. 3ea 3oz beef tenderloin medallions, your choice of side, and either a ceasar, or regular side salad for $20. I have never had a bad, or even a so-so meal here. Everything is top notch, and I highly recommend.

Very good Italian restaurant with all the standard menu items. Very well executed and plentiful. The staff was good, and the bar is nice and dining area small yet quaint ... even homey. Very comfortable.

Great food and service!! Manager, Kevin is very attentive. Kelly was also attentive and friendly. Bartender, Kristen makes a mean drink. Will definitely be a return costomer.

Great food

Nice people and nice service. Food is good. Rather dark atmosphere. Parking is ridiculous and dining room is very tight to maneuver through. Without the risk of having to increase the menus prices, an overhaul of the entire building and parking lot is well over due. Menu fails to mention all none alchohol drinks available and prices. Not worth waiting for, but good to go to a couple of times a year. Good, but not a recommendation.

Great service, great food and very reasonably priced.

There is just not enough I could say about this place. It is such a hidden gem. The service is amazing, very personal and very welcoming. Even the owner is out in on the floor, talking with his guests and making sure everything is great. Next are the patrons there, we had a wonderful family volunteer to move to a booth so that my father in law (with really bad hips) could sit in a chaired table. Last but absolutely not least is the amazing food. Never have I had such amazing authentic Italian food. And the price is just as amazing! Don't even bother going to the hill for pasta, just go here!!

Amazing on every front. Most people don't see the parking lot in the back apparently. Loved the bread with the meal. The tortellini and fettuccine alfredo with chicken was soooo good. My husband loved how buttery his was and the meat flavor really came out in my cream sauce. Nice and small, we came near opening at 5 for a quick seat. Close to olive garden in price but well worth it. The staff was on it any time we put something to the side or needed a refill

I enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. Everything was done in a timely manner which I really appreciate. i would highly recommend.

Good lasagna. The Caesar dressing had no anchovies, no bite to it, but the croutons were light and crispy and the cheese was freshly grated. Great service.

my husband and i are visiting st louis and tried massa's on a whim. we had an absolutely incredible experience. the lighting and ambiance and smaller size of the restaurant create an intimate and personal dining experience. our waitress julie was fantastic and filled our every need, and then some. our food was beyond expectation and now we are just devastated we live across the country! highly recommend this place.

Bartender/Manager gives great service and makes it fun

Relaxing atmosphere. A bit cramped by the front door, but we got in fairly quickly. Parking was kind of difficult because the lot is small. Food was okay...my bowl of spaghetti with meat sauce had a lot of water in it, as if the pasta wasn't drained before playing. Huge portions and very fast service made it worthwhile!

I read the reviews so I was really looking forward to eating here. I didn't know it was a quite small restaurant. If you have to wait for a table, you do so in a cramped little place by the front near the door. After waiting in front with a large number of people, we were seated. The food wasn't much to write home about. It was very salty and frankly, I've had much better Italian than this. At one point I told my husband that apparently, to enjoy this food it would help if I was drunk. There were a number of inebriated people and they seemed to be having a good time. I would recommend calling ahead for table availability. If you like your food salty, this is the place for you.

Great service, food was good but felt it was a little over priced for what you got.

We went early on a Friday evening with reservations. Definitely glad we had the reservations as there was already a wait at 6 p.m. The place was hustling. We were seated almost immediately. The service was excellent. Our waitress was the right balance of friendly and efficient. We ordered toasted ravs as an appetizer and were pleased when they arrived. We were also brought several slices of bread which were disappointing, dry and tasteless. We both ordered pasta dishes. Mine was pretty good but the other was pretty tasteless, a bit of a disappointment. We each had a glass of wine which was good and fairly priced. We will go again with the hope that it we just a bit of an off night for the food.

First time I had ever tried Massa's and it was a great experience. Goog food, good service and the entire BOWL of freshly grated parmesan to use on your meal is awesome.

The best Italian in West County. Their pasta is always fresh and sauce is tasty. Chicken dishes are high quality prices very good. Service is some of the best around. Jessica is always there to make my family smile with her service.
